Welcome to Enlivening Elle / Life Update

Happy Monday! I thought now that my site has been live for almost a week I would chat to you about why I changed my blog name, and what’s happening in my life right now. You can find out more on my updated about me, and about the blog pages. As is always the way, transferring my site was definitely challenging and so I’m really pleased to be able to bring it to you at last.

Enlivening Elle

I had been wanting to change my blog name for ages. Green+Aquamarine was named prior to me starting university and became steadily more focused around yoga and health as it matured, until eventually the name no longer felt right. I’ve also spent the best part of year trying and failing to make myself a new logo. Luckily, the amazing Frances Rowsell made me a beautiful new header design, which gave me the final push to launch Enlivening Elle. The name reflects my ethos on providing tips, articles and recipes that help to brighten and fill up your life rather than limit it.

As for me, I have now (finally!) finished my degree, with my graduation set for later on in summer. I was blown away last week to find that I have finished with a first class degree. I don’t think I’ll believe it until after I’ve graduated. At the present, my plan is to take a year off from university study, and have deferred a Master’s degree until the next academic year. In the meantime, I’m teaching as many yoga classes as I can, taking on some social media freelance work and enjoying having more time to spend on this blog! All in all, I’m making sure that I’m staying busy. I’ve almost always been at university whilst this blog has been in existence and from the get-go I knew that I wanted to find a way to weave it into my career path. Without any revision to do, I’ve got a lot of energy to throw back into my blog and have it bursting with fresh new content. Posts will be coming out every Monday and most Thursdays from now on, so keep tuned in.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me, be it in words or by reading the blog, over the last few years and I hope you love the new site as much as I do! If you are interested in yoga classes, events, blog collaborations or social media, please send me an email.
